Purchase Terms
These Purchase Terms describe what you are buying when you upgrade an event on https://galashare.com, a service run by Joshua Rodriguez as Galashare. Below, GalaShare and "we" mean that same business. They apply on top of our Terms of Service, and your right to a refund is set out in the Refund Policy.
What you are buying
You pay once to upgrade one event from the free trial to Premium. That is the whole transaction.
- It is a one-time payment for that single event.
- It is not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically and we never make recurring charges.
- GalaShare does not sell credits. There is no balance to top up and nothing is used up as you go.
- A second event needs its own upgrade. Each new event starts on the free trial.

Both plans have the same limit per file: photos up to 50 MB and videos up to 2.0 GB. A file also has to fit in the event's remaining storage, so on the free trial the largest possible file is 1.0 GB. Sizes are shown in the same units the app uses. We do not cap the number of guests who can upload to an event; the limits on files and storage are what count. The guest page and QR code, slideshow, guestbook and moderation tools come with both plans.
When Premium starts and ends
Premium starts when your payment goes through, not when the event was created. It then lasts 365 days from that moment. Days left on the free trial are not added on top, and buying Premium never makes an event's upload period shorter than it already was. If the free trial had already ended and uploads were closed, buying Premium opens uploads again automatically.
When the 365 days end:
- Guests can no longer upload to the event.
- For another 30 days the event stays in download-only mode. The host can still look through everything and download it.
- After that, the photos, videos and guestbook notes of the event are permanently deleted. The Privacy Policy lists the few records we keep afterwards.
The event page in your dashboard shows both dates: when uploads close and when the files are deleted. We may send reminder emails before them when that becomes available, but do not rely on them. Download your files in good time.
The free trial
You can try GalaShare before you pay, and the trial does not need a payment card. It has the limits listed in the table above. You can upgrade an event later from its page in the dashboard.
Price, currency and tax
Premium costs €39 per event at the time of writing. The checkout page is what counts: it shows the exact amount and currency you will be charged before you confirm. We do not add tax at checkout today, so unless the checkout page shows a separate tax line, the price shown is the full amount you pay. If it shows a different amount or currency than this page, the checkout page is the one you agree to by paying.
Your bank or card issuer may add its own fees or convert the currency, which we do not control. If we change our prices later, the change affects only purchases made after it. A payment you have already made is not charged again or adjusted.
How you pay
Payments are handled by Stripe on its own checkout page. You enter your card or bank details there, not on GalaShare, and we never receive them. What we do receive is a record of the payment, such as its amount, status and reference. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep.
Some payment methods are not instant. For those, Premium switches on once the payment has cleared, and the event shows as pending until then. We do not delete the event's files while its payment is still pending. If a payment fails, nothing is charged and nothing changes on the event.
If a payment only clears after the event has already been deleted, there is nothing left to upgrade, so we refund it.
Refunds
You have 7 days from purchase to ask for your money back, no questions asked. The details, including how to ask and what happens to the event afterwards, are in the Refund Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Purchase Terms. The date at the bottom of this page shows the latest version. An update applies to purchases made after it, and the plan details you paid for will not be reduced afterwards.
